Praying for Our Husbands Day Nine: Emotions

Praying for our husband's emotions today.

Pray that your husband will be slow to anger and quick to bring about peace. Pray he will allow the Holy Spirit to control his responses. Pray he will not be anxious in anything, that he will have a glad and willing heart. Pray that he will open himself up to God's timing for his emotions. That he will first think, then act and feel.

A fool vents all his feelings,
But a wise man holds them back.

Proverbs 29:11

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:6-8

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Romans 14:19

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Ecclesiastes 3:4

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Blessings,

Audrey
