Where is Our Heart?

My heart is breaking writing this post but I feel it really needs to be said.

Ladies, we should not be enemies to each other. We should be the other's biggest support system and best friends. We are sisters in Christ!

Watching interactions on Facebook is just overwhelming and has many times made me want to leave or quit the internet all together. However, that wouldn't help. If we are not part of the solution then we become the problem.

I once had a fellow school mate tell me that she quit going to church because the ladies were "so cliquish and catty". My goodness ladies! What a tragedy!

This happens on Facebook every day. How many are we losing for Christ because of our emotions?

When we allow our emotions to rule, no matter the situation, we are losing moral ground and our credibility. Not to mention, respect.

The Bible praises women who are gentle, kind, meek, nurturing and loving. How often to we think on these before posting that sarcastic comment or arguing the same point for the thousandth time?

We need to develop servant's hearts ladies. Being right is so much less important than winning hearts and helping others succeed.

Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 2:3-5

Blessings on this Sunday,
